Breakfast at the Damson Lodge was superb with an excellent choice of food from full Cumbrian breakfast (including vegetarian option - veggie black pudding included!) to daily specials including pancakes, eggs benedict etc, scrummy. This set us up for a days activity without a doubt.

We stayed in the larger kingsize room, and it was spacious, extremely comfortable and light... we loved the homemade shortbread left in our room each day, and it was a nice touch to have a daily breakfast 'special'. Everything we tried was delicious! Viri and Paul were very friendly and helpful... I would highly recommend this B&B to everyone - probably the best B&B we've ever stayed in!

... Little extra touches made us feel really welcome, like mini Easter eggs left in our room on Easter Sunday, homemade baked shortbread every day with our in-room tea/coffee facilities... Had an absolutely cracking time that I will never forget.  You will not be dissappointed if you book this b&b so just go ahead and chose this one.
