We use only the finest locally sourced produce to create a high quality Cumbrian breakfast.

Great care and attention has gone into finding the best ingredients the county has to offer. For example, our Cumbrian sausages come from Savin Hill Farm in Lyth Valley who rear free-range, rare-breed pork to the highest standard. Our bacon is from Askerton Castle who produce organic pork from traditional breeds which ensures fine slow growing meat of excellent texture and flavour. We only ever use free-range eggs from a local farm. We try to use fairtrade and organic goods wherever feasible.

We don't just cater for the committed carnivores either, any special dietry needs will be catered for on request with the same commitment to quality and locality.

We also aim to offer a choice at breakfast with fresh Scottish kippers available when possible and also a daily special. Specials have included the likes of Bacon or Smoked Haddock Benedict, Smoked Salmon With Scrambled Eggs and Fresh Pancakes.

All our breakfasts are freshly prepared and delivered piping hot to your table. We are very proud of the fact we do not own a microwave!
